group discussion--
they called us for the group discussion . we were made to sit in one of the classrooms . thw chairs were arranged in a circle . they made us sit in order according to some list the hr was carrying .
she seemed to be in a hurry to finish the group discussion
she gave us the genral gd instructions .and added that she would give us three minutes to prepare and one minute for each of us to talk about the topic . it wasnt like a gd at all .
the topic was "can indian mncs compete with foriegn mncs"
the topic was simple and i jotted down quite a few points . the gd started .i was third in the order ...when my chance came i put in my main view ...globalization is taking place very quickly ,and the playing field for the mncs be they indian or foreign is a level playing field ,and the one with the best bisuness practices will win the competetion---- the statement came out better than i thought . i stopped assuming that my turn is over ..but the hr who had been looking at her papers all the time lifted her head and looked at me .as if to say "why did u stop please continue" i tried to speak but had forgotten all my other points ... i tried to look into the paper but everything seemed blur ..it seemed as if i suddenly had hyperopia.
but then i managed to utter a sentence or two before she passed on to the next guy.
the gd got over fast and the results were announced in a short time too . almost everyone got through.
